He tries to keep his anger in check depending on the situation calls for it but it is very easy to tell that he is irritated by somebody. He also as a straight man to Palayo and to some extent, Cathy. He also has a love of the sea, always taking every chance he gets to take boat trips on the ocean. It is absolutely fascinating on how much he goes fanboy over something related to the sea.

Fighting Style: Al’s main weapon of choice is an anchor on a chain that he could use as a flail despite how heavy it is which makes it great for long-range. He could use the anchor as a shield and even as a close-range weapon if he needed it. He also has the power of water that he could charges up. Uncharged, it is nothing more than a ball of water that is the size of a baseball and fully charged up, he could send out a slim yet powerful of water that is great for putting out fires or defeating people who deal with fire. Not to say that Al is completely useless without his weapon or magic because he is actually a decent fighter by himself.

Bio: Al actually used to be a normal child while growing up. He had a good relationship with his family, he had a nice home and lived a generally normal life. And he hated it. Despite being in Belcazzar, he was jaded by how simple life was and how he hated living in his city. At first, he wanted to leave but looking at the other places on Elarthe, there is not much he could move to as he found faults with most of them.

But then, fate had calling when he was standing on a nearby Highway that was overlooking the ocean, there he found a large, bright rainbow fish that was flopping around on a boat. When he went to investigate, he had found out that it was a rare fish that couldn’t be found on any known map. He soon found out that there are a lot of different islands on the ocean and they each had their own distinct location. It was then he had decided to become a sailor.

Things turned out good at first but he had became an anti-social workaholic focusing on the job. This along with his violent tendencies had made him unpopular with his fellow sailors. Soon, when he had tried to strangle one of his co-workers, it was the last straw and the captain had no choice but to fire. He had absolutely devastated him and he was forced to go back to Belcazzar, even more jaded than before.

As jaded as he was, he knew that he needed a job and applied for the Heroes’ Hideout. At first, he was the same short-tempered grump that sailed the seas but then he had met Cathy, a new recruit. They were forced to work together on a task despite Al just giving her as an annoyance like everyone else and Cathy being absolutely terrified of the guy. But soon they had talked and when Al had told Cathy about his past, she asked a very good question. “Why are you continuing with the attitude if that is what ruined your life to begin with?” It was then Al had realized how much of a jerk he had been and vowed to be a better person so he would not ruin his life any further.

Name: Cathy

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Height: 152cm

(When In Casual)

Personality: Cathy is generally a happy and cheerful girl. She loves making friends and always tries her best not to upset anyone. She doesn’t get angry easily and always tries her best to over a fight but she is far from a pushover and will hold no quarter in a fight. While she is not stupid, she can be somewhat scatterbrained and socially-awkward. Despite her innocent nature, she is a huge yaoi-fangirl, writing fanfics about people she had known and/or met and shipping them together. She always find a way to great new yaoi stories.

Fighting Style: Being part cat, Cathy is very quick on her feet and athletic, easily doing flips which could be used for offense and defense. Her weapons of choices are a pair of tambourines as silly as it sounds. However, the jingles are razor-sharp which means if someone doesn’t know about her, she could use it to her advantage and take them by surprise. She could easily hit an opponent several times in the span of three seconds. She also has a move where she slams her tambourines together which created a loud noise. However, it also hurt her too and because of her feline hearing and her range to the attack, she only uses this as a last-ditch attempt.

Bio: Cathy was born because of an one-night stand. A young woman named Veronica who was upset that she was going to be in an arranged marriage with a man to reunite their two father’s respective businesses. Because of this, she may not be able to leave the house unless under certain situation. Upset, she had gone to a bar and met up with a feline cameraman named Felix. He had sympathized with her blight and decided to help her make her night a fun one to have. Unfortunately, the two had gotten drunk and slept together. While the two left on good terms (despite have an awkward reaction to it), this caused Veronica to be pregnant with Cathy. Despite everyone being upset with her having a baby and potentially ruining everything, Veronica still wanted to keep the baby because this was her responsibility.

However, Arthur, her fiance had made her think that she is just an orphan living in the mansion because the two had taken pity on her and want nothing to do with the baby, even so much as calling it an abomination. Despite this, Veronica tried to raise Cathy in a happy environment. Along the way, she gave birth to Devon who despite his father’s views of Cathy, saw the catgirl as a sister and vice-versa. However, Devon had still been treated with several privileges like riding in the limo while Cathy had to ride in the bus. While she is living a good life considering the circumstances, she was still upset by this.

After so long, Cathy had finally confronted Veronica. It was then she had told Cathy the whole truth onto her. At first, she was upset because she thought that she was a waste of space, despite her mother’s pleas. However, Devon wanted to run the business with Cathy by her side. Needless to say, Arthur was more than upset and didn’t liked the idea. So when Devon was old enough, Arthur told Devon the whole truth. However, all this did was shatter Devon’s faith in his father and make him even more determined to have Cathy join him. This escalated in a large fight between the two men. Cathy was too upset by the outcome and ran away not wanting to cause any trouble for anyone.

She had made her way over to the Heroes’ Hideout and applied for a job there. At first, she was quite timid because she was unconfident if she would do well. But after a few weeks, she had slowly broke out of her shell. She had even managed to not only befriend Al but got him to be far more nicer.

Name: Palayo

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Height: 169cm

Species: Elf

Occupation: Waiter

Appearance:

Sapphire-Blue Combed-Back Hair

Light Grey Skin

Brown Eyes

Elf Ears

(Standard Waiter Outfit When On The Job)

(When In Casual)

Purple Flat Cap

Red Scarf

White Dress Shirt

Light Grey Sweater Vest

Black Pants

Brown Shoes

Personality: Palayo is an eccentric man, to say the least. He doesn’t seem to be grasp about much social interaction like thinking that if two people are holding hands with smiling sweetly are dating. To make things worse, he mostly comes out with what he is thinking about. Because of this, some of things he said could come off as oblivious really insensitive. However, he is genuinely a nice guy who doesn’t really a bad opinion about most people and things in life and always sees the bright side. He is also stoic, not to point of being emotionless but he doesn’t react that much to situations like most people do.

Fighting Style: Palayo is strictly a ranged fighter with his own wristed crossbow. He has deadly aim with his weapon and could easily kill a person with one shot. However, he mostly just try to pin people to the wall with his bolts or aim for the leg if forced to stop a unruly customer. However, if he needs an offensive attack, he also has the power to charge up his crossbow with wind magic and fire it forward for a quick and powerful (yet still not-lethal shot). If an opponent gets too close, he will try to punch and kick at them before running away. He is not a short-range fighter.

Bio: In his childhood days, he used to be part of a group called the Butterfly Knives, an assassin group that kidnapped orphans and trained them to be heartless killers with no empathy for anyone, using the innocence of a child to take people off-guard and kill them. Because of this, they were one of the most deadly assassin groups in Belcazzar. Just like the rest of them, Palayo acted as if he had no emotion. However, one day, Palayo was about to kill one of his marks, a known vigilante, Nequit. However, said vigilante was an unstoppable golem who had shrugged off his attacks and easily captured him.

At first, Palayo looked like he was about to be trialed as an adult but then Nequit had came to his rescue, saying that he was still a child and deserves to live like one. So he had suggested that the police had confined himself to a hospital where Nequit could teach him how to be a child. However, Nequit wasn’t too great with social interactions himself and his advice came off as ridiculous. This is probably why Palayo had poor social skills…

Despite this, Nequit had managed Palayo to break out of his shell and look in things in a brighter light. Soon, he had ratted out the Butterfly Knives and arrested all of the adults and rescued all of the children so they could try to go through the same therapy Palayo did. However, Palayo still needed to pay for his actions so he had to spend a lot of time in a mental institution. However, Nequit had still visited him from time to time. Soon, Palayo had finally got out of the institution and gotten a job at the Heroes’ Hideout. At first, Bogus and Ms. Corporate was reasonably skeptical of hiring an ex-assassin but he had proven that he is not the same child that he used to be. Even though he still drives some of the other waiters and customers crazy.
Here is the :iconea-lec: reference sheet for my waiter trio, Al, Cathy and Palayo. While they have their own personalities, fighting styles and backgrounds, they are mostly background characters most of the time. HOWEVER, thanks to the Hangover mission, they would get their reference sheet. :D
